Issste will relocate medical personnel to primary care clinics

#InstitutoDeSeguridadYServiciosSocialesDeLosTrabajadoresDelEstado. – Regarding health professionals who report unjustified dismissals in medical units, the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (#Issste) informs that these positions will be relocated to first level clinics, in order to strengthen the care provided to the beneficiaries.

On the instructions of the Director General, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, this administration will not cease in its efforts to ensure that no health professional hired to attend to the health emergency is left without a job opportunity, which is why he ordered the necessary steps to be taken to relocate the personnel, in coordination with the Regulatory Directorate of Health.

At the beginning of the pandemic, through the Instituto de Salud para el Bienestar (Insabi), medical and nursing personnel were hired to support hospitals that attend COVID-19. However, since December 2020, these positions are part of the Issste budget. Their work period ended on December 31, 2021, as stipulated in their contract.
